Stayhealthy Hub
An AI-powered wellness platform built for real employees with real needs
Overview
The Stayhealthy Hub is a wellness platform designed for employees enrolled in employer-sponsored benefit plans. Built around a smart, conversational AI assistant, the Hub delivers personalized, easy-to-understand health information alongside tools like ebooks, podcasts, telehealth access, and custom wellness offerings. It helps companies support their teams—while qualifying for tax credits through 125 cafeteria plan participation.
Problem
Most corporate wellness portals are cluttered, confusing, and underused. Employees are overwhelmed by dense information, outdated UIs, and tools that don’t speak their language—especially those with limited health literacy.
Impact
• Employees can't easily find answers to basic health questions or navigate their benefits.
• Employers struggle to meet participation and compliance goals for their wellness programs.
• Resources like telehealth, fitness, or mental health support often go underutilized.
• People disengage from wellness initiatives that feel impersonal or hard to use.
My Role
Creative direction, UX design, and product definition.
I led the design of the platform experience—from the tone and voice of the chatbot to the architecture that organizes content, tools, and resources for real-world usability.
Process Highlights
• Defined user goals through stakeholder sessions, benefit administrator interviews, and UX research on health literacy
• Designed a clean, mobile-first interface around a conversational chatbot that simplifies complex health topics
• Built a modular content delivery system to serve ebooks, podcasts, health products, and employer-specific offerings
• Created a clickable prototype that demonstrates real-world use cases—from asking about cold symptoms to accessing mental health services
What Makes It Different
The Hub doesn’t just look better—it speaks better. It was purpose-built to accommodate users with low health literacy, helping them take action without confusion. It also integrates seamlessly with 125 cafeteria plans, allowing employers to offer real value and receive tax benefits.
Where It’s Going
The platform is currently in use for demos with benefit providers and HR partners. Future development will include dynamic content dashboards, usage reporting, and integrations with third-party health partners.
